By An Ayurvedic Wellness Center under the leadership of Somatheeram Ayurveda Group has started functioning at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. This is the first ever Ayurvedic Center in an Airport in the whole world. The Ayurvedic Wellness Center was started as an initiative to provide Ayurvedic treatment at the airport to expatriates and foreign tourists. Transit passengers will also benefit greatly from this service at the airport.
This wellness center is run under the supervision of an Ayurvedic doctor. Free doctor consultation is also available here. Ayurvedic beauty programs are also available, along with Ayurvedic treatments. The Center was inaugurated by Mr. Pramod Krishna Menon, Commercial Section Head, Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. Mr. Baby Mathew Somatheeram, CMD of Somatheeram Ayurveda Group, spoke about the pursuit of the Wellness Centre. Airport Terminal Manager Priya PR also conveyed her wishes.
