The Beypore International Water Festival 2024, set to take place from December 27 to 29, will bring a vibrant mix of adventure, culture, and cuisine to the picturesque venues of Beypore, Chaliyam, and Nallur in Kozhikode. Known as India’s largest water festival, the event promises an unforgettable experience with thrilling water sports, cultural celebrations, and culinary delights, establishing Kozhikode as a prime destination for adventure tourism in India.
Attendees can expect a range of exhilarating water sports, including white water kayaking, sit-on-top (SOT) kayaking, bamboo rafting, sailing regattas, sea kayak races, country boat races, angling, and wing foiling. Community-centered competitions such as wooden boat paddling, net casting, and fishing will also take place, enhancing local involvement and festive spirit. Adding to the excitement, adventure enthusiasts will be treated to demonstrations of paramotoring, flyboarding, rowing, surfing, sea rafting, windsurfing, and surf skiing.
