By The Karnataka International Travel Expo (KITE) 2025 officially launched its Pre-FAM Tours at Kumara Krupa Guest House, Kumara Krupa Road, marking the beginning of an exciting journey to showcase Karnataka as a premier global tourism destination. The prestigious travel and tourism event is set to take place from February 26 to 28, 2025, bringing together industry stakeholders to explore Karnataka’s diverse tourism offerings.
Dr. K.V. Rajendra, IAS, Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, and Managing Director, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), flagged off the KITE 2025 Pre-FAM Tours in the presence of officials from the Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS) and other dignitaries.
Curated meticulously by the KITE Committee, these FAM Tours are designed to introduce new destinations while offering an immersive and enjoyable experience to the delegates. Karnataka’s rich tapestry of heritage, culture, adventure, wellness, and nature-based tourism will be at the heart of these explorations.
Organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, and the Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS), with support from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, KITE 2025 serves as a vital platform for fostering partnerships and promoting business opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
As part of its efforts to position Karnataka as a must-visit destination, the Department of Tourism has curated specialized FAM trips covering iconic locations across the state. These tours will offer international and domestic buyers, as well as media delegates, firsthand experiences of Karnataka’s unparalleled attractions, reinforcing its status as a dynamic tourism hub.
