Expo at Huddle Global 2024 to showcase Deep Tech, R&D startups

Advanced solutions from Deep Tech and R&D startups will be the spotlight of the expo at Huddle Global 2024, one of India’s largest startup conclaves planned by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) against the panoramic settings of Kovalam beach near here from November 28 to30.

The expo, styled The Emerging Tech and Deep Tech Zone, is conceived as a hub for startups to present their advanced solutions and engage in interactive demonstrations before major stakeholders from across the world converging at the flagship event.

Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate ‘Huddle Global 2024’ at Hotel Raviz Kovalam, opening immense opportunities for the state’s robust startup ecosystem to showcase case its prowess, raise more funds, scale up business and firm up the global connect.

“Huddle Global 2024 promises to be a landmark event for innovation and technology, offering insights into the future of deep tech and beyond. The Deeptech Zone at the event will host a variety of events, including knowledge sessions, the Deeptech Startup Expo, and the Deeptech Student Innovations initiative,” KSUM CEO Shri Anoop Ambika said.

Attendees can explore the future of technology through hands-on experiences.
The NASSCOM has joined as the deeptech partner to enhance knowledge sharing and foster a vibrant ecosystem, paving the way for the next generation of technological innovation in India, he said.

The Emerging Technology Zone at the conclave will highlight advancements across five focus areas: Energy, Healthcare, Digital Media & Entertainment, Food & Agriculture, and Space.

Notable talks include a keynote address by Dr. S. Somanath, Chairman of ISRO, on “ISRO’s Vision and the Rise of India’s Space Tech Companies.”

Participants will also engage in a roundtable discussion aimed at fostering collaboration among R&D institutions, industry leaders, and startups in the space tech sector.

The deliberations will cover a range of live topics such as Autonomous Vehicles, Green Hydrogen, and Quantum Technologies in various sessions.

Indian Council of Agricultural Research– Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (ICAR_CTCRI) , ‘National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT), Kerala Space Park (K-Space), Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI), ‘ National Transportation Planning and Research Centre (KSCSTE – NATPAC), ICAR – Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT), ‘ Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) and Institute of Advanced Virology are also joined as ecosystem partners, further enriching the event’s collaborative spirit.

Into its sixth edition, Huddle Global2024 will bring together globally-known startup founders, mentors, investors, industry leaders and decision-makers to engage in absorbing conversations and clinch business partnerships.

The event will showcase Kerala’s inspiring startup story, ranked as the fast-growing ecosystem in national and global ratings.

Turning Kerala into a global technology hub, with a strong startup ecosystem serving as a source for a wide range of products and services powered by new technologies, is the prime goal of Huddle Global 2024.

In tune with its inclusive vision, the conclave will set a platform for digital transformation of micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), which will help them leverage new technologies, bring down operational costs and expand business.

Earlier editions of Huddle Global had received overwhelming response from the stakeholders.

KSUM, the nodal agency of the Kerala Government for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state, has been organising ‘Huddle Kerala’ since 2018.
