The Leela Raviz properties at Kovalam and Ashtamudi, Kollam, made a remarkable mark at the Metro Food Awards, winning six prestigious awards across various categories.
The Metro Food Awards were presented by Mr. Kadakampally Surendran, MLA, as part of the World Food Day celebrations jointly organized by Metro Mart and the Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in association with the South Kerala Hoteliers Forum.
Recognized as Kerala’s most significant honour in the hospitality sector, the Metro Food Awards celebrate outstanding brands and restaurants that have excelled in the food and beverage industry. This year’s awards ceremony, held in Thiruvananthapuram, saw enthusiastic participation and overwhelming support from the industry.
Leela Raviz Kovalam’s Jazz and Blues won the award for Best Theme Bar and Lounge, while Leela Raviz Ashtamudi’s Ranthal received the title of Best Floating Dining Restaurant. The Sunday Brunch at The Terrace was adjudged the Most Popular Brunch in South Kerala, and Nirvana at Leela Raviz Ashtamudi was recognized as Kerala’s Most Rated Signature Dish. In addition, The’Tides at Leela Raviz Kovalam was chosen as the Most Preferred Beachside Diner for its authentic Pan-Asian and fresh cuisine, while Aaram Vegetable Garden at the same property received special recognition for its eco-friendly initiative.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Kadakampally Surendran, MLA, and presided over by Mr. S. N. Raghuchandran Nair, President, Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Siji Nair, Managing Editor, Metro Mart, delivered the welcome address.
