SKHF Holds Fruitful Meeting with Dr Venu V IAS to Address Key Hospitality and Tourism Challenges

The South Kerala Hoteliers Forum successfully organized a significant gathering on July 19th at the prestigious Somatheeram Ayurvedic Health Resort in Kovalam, Trivandrum. During the meeting, stakeholders within the tourism fraternity expressed their concerns about waste management challenges, proposed amendments to liquor policies, including the implementation of dry days, and the development of a new city master plan. These valuable insights shed light on the pressing issues faced by the industry, prompting Mr. Venu to offer his assistance in finding suitable solutions. Notably, Mr. M. R. During discussions with the leaders of the South Kerala Hoteliers Forum, Mr. Prasad conveyed the overwhelming response received from various stakeholders in the industry, indicating their eagerness to participate in GTM 2023. This update has generated heightened anticipation and excitement among members of the South Kerala Hoteliers Forum, who are enthusiastic about contributing to the success of the Global Travel Market.

The Global Travel Market (GTM 2023) is an annual B2B and B2C travel and trade exhibition that serves as a premier platform for exhibitors and buyers from India and abroad to develop new business partnerships and boost their endeavors. The inaugural edition of GTM will be held in Trivandrum, Kerala, India, and participants are looking forward to showcasing the latest trends and offerings in the travel industry.
