By The Tushar Mega Tourism B2B Meet, organized by the Keralaites Travels & Tours Consortium (KTTC), concluded successfully, marking a significant milestone in South India’s tourism sector. Held on August 31, 2024, at the CIAL Convention Centre in Nedumbassery, the event was a resounding success, drawing substantial participation and acclaim.
The fair was inaugurated by Shri Manoj M. Vijayan, KTTC State President, and was attended by over 200 leading tour operators from both India and abroad. The exhibition featured a diverse range of stalls from Destination Management Companies (DMCs), hotels, resorts, flight companies, and online travel portals. The event saw an impressive turnout of approximately 5,000 travel agents and tour operators from across Kerala and beyond, making it the largest B2B tourism fair in the region.
In addition to the vibrant exhibition, the event included a training study class led by renowned travel and tourism trainer Snoj Machingal. The session was particularly beneficial for budding students and tourism entrepreneurs, featuring insightful travelogues by prominent travel influencer and YouTuber Harris Amirali.
The keynote address at the closing session was delivered by world traveler Santhosh George Kulangara. He commended the exceptional service provided by travel agents and tour operators and announced a forthcoming collaboration with Safari Channel, promising exciting developments in the future.
The event was further highlighted by the participation of officials from various Travel & Tourism Associations in Kerala, who also contributed to the discussions. KTTC officials including Manoj M. Vijayan, Snoj M., Denny Jose, Shaji Kallai, Shijo George, Anand KR, Anu Jose, Jbin Bluegrass, Sandhya Verma, and Jison Futura were present and actively engaged throughout the meet.
